Burkert Type S030 Plastic Sensor Flow Fitting with Paddle Wheel for Flow Measurement

The sensor-fitting S030 has a built-in paddle wheel to measure the flow rate. When liquid flows through the pipe, the paddle wheel rotates and produces pulses where the frequency it transmits is proportional to the flow rate.

The INLINE Quarter-turn technology” ensures a leakage free operation between fitting and instrument. The paddle wheel rotation (which has permanent magnets fitted in the wheels) is detected by a contactless sensor through the fitting wall.

The transmitter can be snapped-on or removed without opening the pipe or interrupting the process.
